Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a time of reflection and fasting. To some, it is a time to give up smoking, drinking, cursing, certain foods, or certain “bad” habits. Walking for a Good Cause: Save the Ta-Tas
On Saturday, October 27th, I joined thousands of other people who participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Knoxville, TN. The 5K course took racers and walkers through downtown Knoxville. I walked with Katy and her husband, Russ, and we had a great time! It rained just a little bit during the first mile, but it eventually stopped and it cooled the air considerably.
