Today, Paris will forever be different. I’ve never been to Paris, but just knowing that I will never see the Notre Dame Cathedral in its original glory has forever changed my vision of the Paris that I have come to love from across the ocean. My dreams of visiting Paris has not died, but has been stoked by the fire at Notre Dame. My desire to visit the rebuilt version of the historic Cathedral is stronger today than it was yesterday. Today, this Parisian landmark was gutted after a fire ripped through its wooden frame in which the spire and […]
Wanderlust Wednesday: Oh The Places I Would Go…
“I would gladly live out of a suitcase if it meant I could see the world.” I haven’t done a “Wanderlust Wednesday” post in several months, but that doesn’t mean that I no longer have those moments that I don’t wish that I could just take a year off and travel. I still have “itchy feet,” or what people may call “wanderlust”, or a very strong or irresistible impulse to travel and explore the world. I haven’t been all over the world (yet), but I always say that when I hit the lottery, I’m going to do some serious traveling! […]
A Mini-Roundup from NYFW
I love fashion, and I love New York City. So it would just make sense that I would love New York Fashion Week, even though I’ve never been to NYFW or to a fashion show. […]
Wanderlust: France
Every summer, that feeling of wanderlust hits me so strong that I spend hours looking at travel sites dreaming of where I’d love to be at that exact moment in time. Photo Source: Maptia Blog My mind wanders and I wish that I could (1) have my summers off like I did when I was young and in school, (2) travel the world, spending time in fabulous locations, and (3) afford to actually travel to these locations. So I decided to put together my wish list, or my “bucket list”, of exotic, beautiful, and faraway places that I’d love to […]
My Week in Pins – Landscapes
I’ve had a rather busy week and I was pinning the other night thinking that I could use one of those O, Oprah Magazine “Breathing Space” moments. You know what I’m talking about, right? She prints a beautiful two-page photo and encourages her readers to use the photo as inspiration to a moment to reflect and relax… to use it as a “breathing space.” So this week in pins, I decided to share some beautiful “breathing space” moments for you to take a few moments from your busy day and try to de-stress… breathe in and breathe out… relax and enjoy! Note: […]
