This weekend, instead of passing out candy on Halloween, my husband and I spent time locked up in the darkenss of our home watching movies. We were not in the mood for anything too serious (he didn’t have the energy to concentrate) or too scary (I don’t have the energy to be scared out of my wits), so we opted for a couple of comedies featuring some funny leading ladies. Wendi McClendon-Covey. Melissa McCarthy. Octavia Spencer. Amy Poehler. Debra Messing. These beautiful women are some of the most incredibly talented and funny women in movies and television today… and they are all fabulous and over 40! They have starred (separately, and sometimes together) in some of my favorite movies and TV shows.
