50 Healthy Habits Every Girl Should Know
As I age, I have come to realize that I only have this one body and I should take care of it. I also realize that as I peruse Pinterest, there are a lot of things that I should know but don’t, and there are a lot of healthy habits that I should be following but don’t. So when I found this pin on Pinterest, I thought I would share it. Just Imagine…
Photo Credit: The Things We Say Can you imagine this scenario? This, to me, means that life is precious and that we should live life to the fullest. When I look back at old photos of myself, I think about the love-hate relationship I had with my hair and realize that I still have that love-hate relationship but thankfully it’s more one […]
How To Deal…
My family watched as my grandfather descended into dementia and Alzheimer’s. He passed away in April 2009, just before Easter. He was 89. Now his wife, my grandmother, is slowly spiraling down the same path as he did. She is 89 now, and is suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s, experiencing the same hallucinations and paranoia as he did. Now, my husband’s grandmother, whom we have lived with for over 10 years, is in the early stages of dementia and Alzheimer’s. If you want to watch a real tear-jerker, rent The Notebook, which tells the love story between a husband and […]
