I’ve pulled out my scarfs and am so excited about the cooler weather. For this week’s dress form outfit, I paired a green pashmina scarf with a knee-length (sleeveless) denim dress. The scarf is wide enough to use a wrap for the cooler evenings. I also like that the denim tie-belt is a lighter shade, so it breaks up the darker denim dress. I have also, on occasion, replaced the denim tie-belt with a more color belt or even my wide black corset-style belt (seen in last week’s DFO). This blue and white striped boat-neck mini dress was a great find at the Goodwill in Kitty Hawk, NC. It is from the GAP and was $4.59! It is so comfortable and I’ve worn it several times since I brought it home a couple of weeks ago! It has three-quarter length sleeves and hits mid-thigh (I’m 5’8″)… kind of short, but it covers my arse well enough and I know how to bend over like a lady. (I don’t bend over. I squat with my knees together – like a lady should!) Have a fabulous “thrifty” week!

I’ve been wishing for summer for the past couple of weeks, however, the groundhog saw his shadow (again) this year. So I paired this cute black sleeveless summer dress with a black corduroy jacket from the Gap. The dress’ label says “twenty one” and has very pretty floral detail on either side of the v-neck.
