Now that I’m in my 40s, I tend to find myself drawn to actresses over 40. They have a maturity, yet a young and playful side to them, that I find appealing and down-to-earth. Wendi McClendon-Covey. Melissa McCarthy. Octavia Spencer. Amy Poehler. Debra Messing. Movies for a Saturday Matinee

I’ve been without internet for a few days, so I’ve been watching movies. I watched Real Steel with Hugh Jackman and Thor with Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman. I know I’m probably behind the times when it comes to watching new release movies, but I’ll eventually watch them. Thankfully, my local library has a great selection of movies that I can check out for a week at a time.
