Blogtober is in Full Swing: Day 5

I had emailed a blogger friend of mine in California and she said that she was participating in “Blogtober”, which I thought was really cool. Basically you blog every day in the month of October, thus “Blogtober.” Then I thought to myself… I’m already doing this so I figured I’d jump on in and see what we can discover about each other! So let me play catch up for just a minute or so… Day 1 – Introduction My name is Vanessa and by day I work as a Registered Medical Assistant to a General Surgeon in a large surgical practice […]

Fall Fashion with My ModCloth Loch and Key Scarf

I am loving the Loch and Key ModCloth scarf I received in my Fall 2016 FabFitFun box last week. I love it so much, I decided to style my dress form with a simple denim dress and accessorize it with my new ModCloth scarf. Talk about serious #scarfgoals! Saying “Yes” to New Adventures with FabFitFun

Earlier this week, I got my Fall FabFitFun box and was so excited that I gave the box a hug! You don’t have to have 100 goals on your to-do list. Start small by writing down three goals that you want to accomplish in 21 days. Then reward yourself when you accomplish them in that timeframe. I also […]

How You Can Support Breast Cancer Awareness in October

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is a cause that is close to my heart because I work with a couple of general surgeons who treat patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Every other week, I sit in a room full of surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and plastic surgeons, where each case of newly diagnosed breast cancer is discussed, and where mammograms, breast ultrasounds, breast MRIs, and biopsy results are discussed in detail. Some of those patients discussed in that Breast Conference are my patients. Well, not technically my patients, but I do work closely with […]
