“I Have a Dream…”: Remembering Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream… A dream of peace, freedom, and hope. Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and many people around the United States have honored the legacy of this man. I am reminded of the Oscar-nominated movie, Selma, about the march from Selma, Ala., to Montgomery, Ala., in 1965, to secure equal voting rights, Martin Luther King Jr.’s words ring true as much today as they did in 1965. {Images borrowed from 1 // 2 } You can read Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech HERE. Celebrating National Hat Day Today

I bet you didn’t know that today is National Hat Day! And in honor of this holiday, I’m celebrating by strapping on my motorcycle helmet and taking my Vespa out for a ride later this afternoon, while my husband rides his Harley Davidson. It was a shock to millions of people, myself included, but his music will live on in the hearts of all of us. “Let’s Dance” and “Little China Girl” were so memorable for me. His androgynous look, his unique voice, his […]

Fashion Favorites of the 2017 Golden Globes

Believe it or not, but I did not watch the Red Carpet shows for the 2017 Golden Globes. I wanted to be surprised by the looks of some of my favorite actresses and celebrities. The color spectrum was fabulous, as always. Some actresses played it safe, while others took a daring chance and it paid off for them. Here are 21 of my favorite looks of the 2017 Golden Globes. Daring to Bare: Mandy Moore, Kristen Bell, and Busy Phillips wore stunning black dresses and none of them wore necklaces. Mandy’s sheer cape is a nice touch to the very […]
