A couple of weeks ago, I came home to find my FabFitFun Fall 2020 box waiting patiently for me to reveal some new favorites. I love supporting new brands, and this season’s box featured 18 {YES! 18!} female-founded brands, like Jenny Bird and Volition Beauty. This season’s box was designed by Zoe Wodarz, a freelance creative specializing in pattern, trend and illustrations. In their continued commitment to sustainability, FFF replaced the standard bleached white box with a 100% recycled kraft box, and the inside tissue paper and air pillows were replaced with 100% recycled kraft paper. Dress Form Outfit: Slip Dress, 3 Ways
I’ve been styling my antique dress form since I started blogging in 2012, and I still enjoy dressing it up. In fact, a couple of weeks ago, I styled a dress form outfit with a black slip dress three ways. I actually purchased this black J. Crew slip dress last Spring at the StateMint Style Consignment sale and I’ve worn it a couple of times under a jacket. I actually wore Look #3 to the a blog conference in Nashville last summer. Stock Tank Pools Are Ideal for Summer Fun
Stock tank pools are so trendy this summer, even though summer is almost over. After families were quarantined for months earlier this year and everyone had the DIY bug, many homeowners began repurposing galvanized stock tank pools and turning them into above-ground pools. I mean, you could probably get a temporary and/or small inflatable pool from Amazon or a local retailer and be happy as a clam. BUT how cool are stock tank pools! Cool Pool Ideas I wouldn’t be able […]

How to Style Summer Neutrals
Summertime often means bright, bold colors, but I like the look and coolness of summer neutrals. With a neutral palette, you can mix freely — there’s no such thing as clashing shades. There is something so effortless about a muted tone ensemble in nudes, taupes and khaki colors. There’s something about this palette that feels so chic and put together. In fact, there are many positives about neutrals: everything always matches; you are able to wear items over and over and people won’t notice; they’re the foundation of your wardrobe; you focus on fit and shape because the color is […]
