My Week in Pins – Christmas (Part I)

Since Christmas is less than two weeks away, I thought I would honor the holiday season with two weeks worth of “my week in pins”. This week features some great finds from Pinterest, including a Reindeer Cam, and a Christmas photo checklist, because you don’t want to miss any photo opportunity! Photo Credit: Pinterest Photo Source: www.lynniemarie.blogspot.com I like this photo. Of course, kids may be a wee bit shy to sit on this Santa’s lap, but not me! I kinda like this “bad boy” Santa! Dress Form Outfit #50

The weather has turned much colder here in East Tennessee. So instead of running around town doing last minute Christmas shopping, I think I’ll just lounge around. And what better to lounge around in than some nice comfy leggings, a soft t-shirt, and a warm sweater. Dress Form Outfit #50, for the week of December 9, 2012 T-Shirt: Affliction, purchased at Buckle; Leggings: Forever 21 Sweater: Allison Brittney, purchased at Goodwill This outfit can be worn around town as well. My Week in Pins

This “week in pins” contains just one pin. I have been pinning a lot this week, but nothing really cohesive enough to blog about. So when I found this blog earlier this evening, I thought, “I need to do some of these at Christmas, if not immediately!” And since my husband and I are spending the night at my parent’s house, why not start out with #2! Try a few […]

Opie Grows Up, a.k.a, The Fantastic Mr. Howard

“It was always my dream to be a director. A lot of it had to do with controlling my own destiny, because as a young actor you feel at everyone’s disposal. But I wanted to become a leader in the business.” (Photo Source: www.biography.com) Opie, otherwise known as Ron Howard, sure has grown up since his role as Andy Griffith’s son. Ron Howard has made his mark on the entertainment industry as an actor, a director and a producer. To me, he is a true fan of films and TV. I often thought that I was somehow, in some way, […]

Dress Form Outfit #49

December is starting out to be a warm month here in Tennessee, but I know winter and colder weather is on it’s way. For this reason, I paired this cozy, warm sweater with a mini-skirt. This cream-colored sweater is from Ralph Lauren and the olive-colored skirt is from Ann Taylor LOFT. I would pair this outfit with some warm tights, a pair of cool riding boots and a light scarf. Now I’m ready for winter! Dress Form Outfit #49, for the week of December 2, 2012 Sweater: Ralph Lauren Skirt: Ann Taylor LOFT Have a great day!
