Boy bands have been all the rage for generations. The Monkees. The Jackson Five. The Beatles. Menudo. New Kids on the Block. N’Sync. Take That. The Backstreet Boys. The Wanted. The Jonas Brother. I never went to a boy band concert and screamed and cried the entire time, but I get it, I really do. In less than four years, the boy band, One Direction, has accomplished so much. Photo Source: Pinterest I recently watched One Direction: This Is Us and saw how excited fans get when these five guys – Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and […]
I’m Love the Pairing of Aniston and Sudeikis
Being polite and grateful will make people more inclined to help you. And if people are willing to help you, you may accidentally get something you want. – Jason Sudeikis (IMDb) I have literally watched We’re The Millers about a dozen times, and I would probably watch it again when it comes back on HBO. There is a great chemistry between Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston that shines brightly in their movies. A.S. + D.B. = Movie Magic
Some actors and actresses can make multiple movies together and they have wonderful chemistry. That’s what I call “movie magic”! Photo Credit: PopSugar I was never a big fan of Adam Sandler’s early years, but he gained me as a fan when he teamed up with the adorable Drew Barrymore. And even though they have only made three movies together, their chemistry is undeniably wonderful. They first teamed together in The Wedding Singer. Then again in 50 First Dates. All Grown Up
I often watch movies and think of the actors or actresses, “They are the same age as me.” Then I think about other movies I’ve seen them in and realize that the movie I’m thinking of is 20-something years old… And that makes me feel old. I was watching Argo the other night and was really impressed with Ben Affleck. He has matured as an actor and has become a wonderful director/producer. I remember him as the tough Boston kid who played opposite his best friend, Matt Damon, in the award-winning movie Good Will Hunting. It got me to thinking […]
Remembering Great Talent
I forgot how beautiful Whitney Houston’s voice was until I turned on the TV and watched her in Sparkle, her last acting role before her tragic death. Even though this movie is a couple of years old, seeing Whitney Houston brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. She played an over-protective mother of aspiring singer-songwriter Sparkle (played by American Idol winner Jordin Sparks). Sparkle forms a trio with her sisters, Sister Williams (played by Carmen Ejogo) and Delores Williams (played by Tika Sumpter). This movie was to have been Whitney Houston’s acting comeback, as she […]
