Make 2017 Your Year: Type “Yes” If You Agree

I’ve been doing some reflecting these past few days on what I’ve accomplished this past year. I’ve also been thinking about what I want to accomplish next year. After all this thinking I’ve been doing, here’s what I’ve decided… I want 2017 to be my year. { Image borrowed from imgfave } YES! YES! YES! I want 2017 to be my year. I don’t want to just sit on the couch and “wait for it.” I want to go out. I want to make a change. I want to smile more and be excited. I want to do new things. […]

In fact, I just found out that one of my former college classmates died in a hunting accident this past Saturday. There was also a tragic bus accident in Chattanooga, Tenn., just yesterday, in which six children were killed. These deaths are unfortunate and heart-breaking, especially since it’s right before Thanksgiving. In light of this news, I wanted to share this blog post again, as a […]

5 Things on My Fall Bucket List

I have looked at a lot of “Fall bucket lists” on Pinterest. And you know what? I’m never going to do half of those things on those lists. Mazes and haunted houses are not my thing, so I thought to myself, “why not make up my own manageable list!” That’s why I only put five things on my list. Try a new pumpkin recipe. First of all, I love baking and cooking delicious treats for my co-workers. So I think I’m going to try this Easy Pumpkin Cobbler, from Creations by Kara. Doesn’t it look delicious? Burn fall candles. Because my husband […]
