Winter — I just love this time of year! Not only do we get to celebrate Thanksgiving and then Christmas, but there are holiday get-togethers with family and friends, parties, shopping, baking, mini-vacations, and stress… lots and lots of stress. That’s why I was so excited to get my FabFitFun Winter 2019 box a couple of weeks ago. When I got the email from FabFitFun saying it was time to customize my Winter 2019 box, I was excited to see what my options were and I wasn’t disappointed. This season’s box is filled with pieces that will soon become some […]
Growing & Evolving with Blogger Xchange
The annual Blogger Xchange XPO conference was a few months ago, but I’m still putting into action the things that I learned there — how to grow and evolve as a blogger. Since 2017, the co-founders of Blogger Xchange have brought Nashville, Minneapolis and Memphis bloggers an array of creatives classes, socials, and various “xperiences” to help create community over competition. A Few of My Favorite Things: Wall Art Inspiration
I love flipping through home decor magazines and catalogs like Restoration Hardware and looking at the wall art. I love seeing how different elements are used to make art. I like how these paint samples are used. If you don’t want to use all of these different colors, you could chose one particular shade {like shades of blue or brown or reds} and design an ombre piece. Paint an entire wall with chalkboard paint. You can do this in the kitchen or pantry, or in a kid’s room. Creating string art on walls takes a lot of creativity. It would […]
