Tablescape Ideas for Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving. The turkey and dressing. The sweet potato casserole. The green beans and buttery soft rolls. The pumpkin and pecan pies. It’s such a delicious holiday!  Even though I won’t be home this year to celebrate the holiday with my family, it doesn’t mean that I don’t love this holiday. Not only do I love the food, but I love the beautiful tablescapes. The table decorations are almost just as important as the food. Setting the scene not only brings people together, but can be a great conversation starter. I love simple tablescapes that don’t interfere with the […]

At Home & In Paris

I like to think that “home is where the heart is”, and to some extent, that is true. But my dream is to one day visit Paris, and to leave a bit of myself there so I can call it “home” as well. Ernest Hemingway’s quote epitomizes the intentions of my heart. I couldn’t tell you when my fascination with Paris began or why it has such a hold over my heart and my mind. It could be the beautiful Eiffel Tower. It could be that Coco Chanel lived, designed, and ultimately died in Paris. It could be that it […]
