Wanderlust Wednesday: Daytona Beach, Florida

Florida has some beautiful beaches and great vacation destinations, one of those being Daytona Beach. Located on the Atlantic side of Florida, Daytona is the home of the Daytona International Speedway and plays host to Daytona Bike Week and the Daytona Turkey Run Car Show and Swap Meet. My husband and I recently vacationed in Daytona Beach for the Thanksgiving holidays. Tis the Season for Ugly Holiday Sweaters

It’s that time of year for Christmas music and movies, holiday cheer, food galore, and of course, ugly holiday sweaters. In fact, some holiday parties you attend this month will require you to get decked out in fancy party dresses. My Thanksgiving Hope for You

Today is Thanksgiving, a national holiday celebrated in both the United States and Canada. The food has been prepared, your family is gathered together, and you and your friends are texting each other to say “Happy Thanksgiving”. {Photo Source: Rose Hill Design Collection by Heather Stillufsen} The word – thanksgiving – is also an expression of gratitude {especially to God}. It is also a day that we can do random acts of kindness and show others love. My hope for you, this Thanksgiving holiday, is to not rush your lunch or your dinner plans to fight and elbow your way […]
