Iconic Moments from Paris Fashion Week History {CNN, via Landen Kerr}

Believe it or not, but there are a lot more iconic moments in PFW’s history than the ones listed in this article. Do you remember any of these iconic moments?

Secrets to Styling Vintage Outfits {Style of Sam}

I just discovered Sam and she has amazing style. She is a woman after my own heart, in that she loves vintage pieces, especially Chanel!

The French Icon Who Revolutionised Women’s Clothes {BBC, via Landen Kerr}

What other French icon could this be, if not Coco Chanel. She wore her own designs and was her own ambassador. Was she the “original influencer”?

“But what is really obvious is that she placed women at the centre of her creations. She dedicated her life to imagining a new way for women to experience fashion… The problem with confronting a legend like Chanel is that there are more than a hundred biographies about her, which talk mostly about her private life. We thought we knew her. But what we realised was that we have a very superficial knowledge of her work. As curators, we rediscovered Chanel.”

The First 30 Minutes of My Day: Amanda Kloots {Molly Sims}

I love reading how celebrities spend their day, what products they use, what exercises they do, etc. Amanda is full of positive energy and you’ll feel her sweet, happy vibe as you read this link. You may have heard about Amanda last year as she shared with the press the heartbreaking issues surrounding her husband’s struggle with Covid, and ultimately, his death. Her husband, Broadway actor Nick Cordero, was just 41 years of age when he passed away.

Breaking Up With Friends {From Love With Kat}

I’ve broken up with a friend or two over the years. It’s heartbreaking, but sometimes it’s needed for both of you to move on and continue to grow. Kat’s post really hit home and explains it very well how and why breaking up with certain friends is necessary.

Drive & Listen {LiveLoveSara}

You’re going to find yourself sliding down a rabbit’s hole as you discover music from around the world, via this link!

And finally… get out the Kleenex. If you’ve ever lost or had to euthanize a pet, you’ll share in the heartbreak of Jess and Craig. I literally cried buckets {seriously!!} while reading this post because it reminded me of losing our Daisy a couple of years ago.

The Story of Nora {Jess Ann Kirby}

Sorry for the waterworks you may have had while reading this last link {really, I’m sorry!}, but it really hit home for me and made me think about our sweet four-legged fur-babies, especially our sweet Daisy.

Anyway, I’ll be back next month with more new and exciting “Links I Love”.

Yours Truly,
Vanessa
