I jumped on the graphic tees bandwagon a bit late, but I’ve made up for it over this past year. Today’s dress form outfit features six of my favorite thrifted graphic tees, styled with jeans, dress pants, leggings, and a sequined skirt.
Now I have about a dozen or so graphic tees, and the majority of them have been thrifted from either Goodwill, KARM stores, or the StateMint Style consignment sale. Read on for details about each outfit.
Dodgers
This tee was thrifted from the Goodwill in Lenoir City, Tenn. The jeans are Lucky Brand and were purchased at the Lucky Brand outlet in Las Vegas. The black sneakers are from Wal-Mart. I’ve had the baseball cap for years and I’m not really sure where I purchased it.
The Dodgers have been my favorite MLB team since I was about 15 years old. I don’t really follow MLB now like I did 25-30 years ago, and call me a simple gal, but I just loved the logo.
Nirvana
This tee was purchased at the Goodwill in Knoxville, Tenn. The black coated leggings and the sneakers are from Wal-Mart. I’ve worn this tee with jeans, shorts, and chinos, and I’ve worn sneakers, sandals, wedges, and boots. I don’t really wear a lot of white shirts, but I made an exception for this cool tee.
I never really listened to Nirvana, and I would probably only recognize a couple of their songs.
Pink Floyd
This thrifted tee looks cool with my Lucky Brand jeans and black wedge Aldo sandals. I actually wore this shirt {with the dress pants in the next photo} to Celfie Vibes in Nashville, Tenn., as seen in the photo below.
Texas
Even Cher is admiring this cool sequined Texas tee. I grew up in the small town of Levelland, Texas, and even though I was a Texas Tech Red Raiders fan, I couldn’t help but love the “Hook ‘Em Horns” chant of the Texas Longhorns. These black pants were purchased from Amazon fashion and my black brogues are from Becky’s Discount Shoes.
Nashville – Paris
I picked up this tee from a Goodwill in Nashville. I believe it might be a commemorative shirt showing support for Paris after the 2015 terrorist attacks. Again, the jeans are Lucky Brand and the sneakers are from Wal-Mart.
On a personal note, anything with “Paris” in the name has me hook, line, and sinker, so this shirt holds a special place in my heart because it shows my support, as a Tennessee resident, for Paris.
NYC Never Sleeps
I’ve only been to New York City twice, but I can’t wait to go back. For me, this graphic tee pays homage to my love of NYC. I picked this tee up from Goodwill, while the sequined skirt came from an AmVet thrift store. The high heels are BCBG and were purchased from Becky’s Discount Shoes.
I love the look of a graphic tee paired with a super-fancy skirt, like my silver sequined one. I also love that this look could be worn with boots, sandals, or a cool pair of white Adidas sneakers.
Presets for My Photos
A couple of weeks ago, I purchased a Preset Bundle from Officially Quigley. I’ve been trying to up my photo game and trying to edit photos myself in Lightroom has proven a little difficult. So when Quigley was offering this huge preset bundle for a low, low price, I jumped!
So here are the presets I used in the DFO photos above:
