I’m a firm believer that positive thinking and positive speaking can improve your mood, and improve your outlook on life. If you tell yourself that you’re smart, funny, or beautiful, then you’ll begin to believe that, and that’s wonderful. Those are life-affirming words.
I believe that a positive attitude will not only change the way you look at life, but it will affect those around you. Your positivity will infect your friends, your co-workers, and your family. If you’re battling insecurity, then keeping a positive mind – feeding it with faith, truth, and love – will improve your outlook on life.
“Your mind will always believe everything you tell it.”
Feed your mind faith. They say that faith can move mountain, that if you don’t believe in something that you’ll fall for anything. Feed your mind something to believe in, whether it be in Christianity, Buddhism, Catholicism, Scientology, or whatever.
Feed your mind truth. Stop lying to yourself and you’ll feel a weight lift off your shoulders. Feeding your mind the truth will help you grow into a better person, and who doesn’t want to be a better person, right?
Feed your mind with love. Whether you feed it with self-love, the love of a good friend, the love of a family member, or the love of a spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend/significant other, just feed it. And if you show others love, then most of the time they will return the show of love.
So today, feed your mind with faith, truth, and love!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Yours Truly,
Vanessa
