A few years ago, I wrote a blog post about how my husband and I met, our first date, and how he proposed. And today, we’re celebrating out 21st anniversary.
We technically celebrated our anniversary last night at a fancy restaurant – Flemings Steakhouse – in Knoxville. And I partook of a little vodka drink {and anyone who knows me, knows that I don’t drink – except maybe on special occasions}. Last night I told my husband, Mike, that if our anniversary was now old enough to drink, then so was I. 🙂

My man loves his hats. And he loves to show his friends his support by wearing their hats.
{Pictures below} — Mike always loved riding his motorcycles, but on August 14, 2018, someone pulled out in front of him while he was on his motorcycle and it nearly killed him. Thankfully, he survived. He spent a week at UT Medical Center and is doing better now. He still has aches and pains, but he probably always will. I’m just glad he’s here today to celebrate our anniversary.
He was wearing his favorite Affliction shorts when he wrecked. On the day of his one year anniversary from his wreck, I posted an Instagram story about him losing his shorts in the wreck and tagged Affliction. They responded and were amazing in that they sent him a new pair of shorts. Here he is {below} modeling his new Affliction shorts. {Thanks, Affliction!}
I love my husband… so much that sometimes my heart aches {in a good way}. I hope that everyone finds a love that makes you happy!
