I’ve been a FabFitFun subscriber for a few years now and I still get excited when the next season’s box arrives. It’s like celebrating my birthday four times a year! And this season’s box has me excited about getting “summer ready”!
When I started arranging the products inside the box to take photos, I didn’t feel like I received very much. However, this FabFitFun Summer 2019 box was full of full-size goodies!
What’s In My Box?
As with previous seasons, membership has its privileges and I got to pre-select some of the items that are in my box. My first pick was the Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel {$45}. I already own one jar of the Bum Bum Cream {cuz it smells tropically divine}, so this pick, for me, was a no-brainer.
The other choices were a Sutra Professional mini travel blow dryer {$60}, a Vix Paula Hermanny Lotus towel {$50}, or a Spiritual Gangster Maya kimono {$60}. I almost chose the kimono, and now I wish I had added it to my box.
The second group of items to choose from were the 111Skin Rose Gold Brightening fascial treatment mask – set of 5 {$160}, the West Elm Indigo tie-dye bowls {$39}, a Summer & Rose navy diamond tote {$50}, and the XO, Sienna black felt letter board {$35}.
I chose the letter board! I can’t tell you how many times I almost purchased one of these letter boards from Target or Burke’s Outlet or wherever, just because I thought it would be so cool {and romantic} to spell out little love notes for my sweetheart, Mike. {But first, I wrote a love note to FabFitFun!}
The next group of items made it equally hard for me to choose, but in the end I chose the Jennifer Zeuner star double necklace, which I now am wearing with my other FabFitFun necklace from Jook & Nona {$50}. The other choices were the Burn 60 resistance bands {$34} or the Odem What a Pair set of 2 silicone wine glasses {$25}.
The fourth selection let me choose between the Eyeko London Eye Do black liquid eyeliner {$22}, the Living Proof No Frizz nourishing styling cream {$28}, or a mystery item {$24+}. I chose the Living Proof styling cream. I scored a couple of sample packets from Sephora a few months ago and really liked it, so again, for me this was a no-brainer.
The fifth and final selection of items included the Doctor Rogers Restore healing balm {$30}, The Coola Organic SPF 300 makeup setting sunscreen spray {$36}, or the Intelligent Nutrients refining micro polish {$57}. I’m a sucker for polishes and anything that leaves my face feeling fresh and smooth, so I chose the micro polish.
The other items that came in everyone’s boxes {or I’m assuming this} included the Invisibobble original duo pack {$16}, the Generation Clay Ultra Violet Brightening Purple clay mask {$39}, the Grace & Stella Rose facial spray {$25.95}, and the Whish exfoliating foot mask {$32}. There was also an $80 gift card for Hello Fresh.
What’s It Worth?
All of the products in my box, if purchased separately, would have cost me $327.95, but because I have a subscription to FabFitFun, this box was less than $45. You see, there are two ways to subscribe to FabFitFun: (1) pay $49.99 quarterly, or (2) pay $179.99 annually, which is what I do and is why my box was actually less than the quarterly price.
Can you believe the value of this box?? $327.95 worth of FULL-SIZE items for less than $45??? To me, that’s TOTALLY WORTH IT!!
That being said, and in full disclosure, I am an affiliate with FabFitFun, but I’m not out to pressure anyone to “use my special code” to get $10 off your first box. I just know what an amazing value this subscription box is and will abso-freakin-lutely vouch for the products I’ve received in my boxes.
Other Fabulous Features
This season’s box was designed by Kayla Krainock, who currently works as a graphic designer at FabFitFun. She finds inspiration for her artwork “in the colors and shapes of nature.” You can find her on Instagram at @signedkayla.
For the Summer 2019 box, FabFitFun partnered with the Global Gift Foundation USA and the Eva Longoria Foundation‘s newest initiative, Girls in Action STEM Scholarship Fund. If you want to help create a #BetterTomorrow, then head over to www.globalgiftfoundationusa.org for more details.
I always like reading the FabFitFun magazine that comes in every box because it not only details every item that was available for that season’s box, but it gives you helpful tips and tricks on how and when to use the products.
There is also always an interview piece on the cover model. This season it is actress Eva Longoria. Not only is she an actress, but she is a director, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a mother. She shares what inspires her to give back to communities.
“I started the Eva Longoria Foundation because I really wanted to help young women reach their full potential in life, whether it’s through educational programs or entrepreneurial programs.”
Eva Longoria
