Anyone who knows me, knows that I love a good thrifty fashion find. Consignment and second-hand stores are my thing, which is why when a blogger friend of mine was promoting the pop-up StateMint Consignment sale in Knoxville earlier this month, I knew I had to go.

The event was Sept. 7-9, and was open to the public. There was a charity pre-sale event on the day before the sale actually opened. A $5 cash donation at the door {with proceeds benefitted a family whose baby is battling leukemia} allowed me and a couple hundred other thrifters to peruse racks and racks of jeans, dresses, tops, shoes, handbags, coats, accessories, and more. I then went back on Sunday because a majority of the items remaining were half-off!!
Between the two days, I purchased 18 pieces. On my Thursday haul, I snagged a cute blue pinstripe dress, two pairs of shoes, a new bag, three tops, a maxi dress, and a pair of corduroy pants. On Sunday, I picked up two shirts for my husband, a fur vest for my mom, six tops, and a pair of earrings. So needless to say, my dress form outfit has been put through numerous outfit changes over the past week.
