Some people may question why I named Dwayne Johnson as this month’s “Man of Style”, but have you seen him in HBO’s “Ballers”? Just like his character Spencer Strasmore, Dwayne Johnson has some serious style!
Men and women alike knew that when they heard the phrase — “Do you smell what The Rock is cookin’?” — that there were two things you could count on: (1) you knew that “The People’s Champion” was somewhere near the “wrastlin’ ring”, and (2) you knew that he was about “lay a smackdown” on somebody’s candy ass. But who knew that Dwayne Johnson would trade in his black wrestling trunks to become a successful, big-time movie star in a sharp suit specifically tailored to his 6′-4″ {or 6′-5″} frame.
Because of his retirement from the wrestling business, he no longer wants to be known as “The Rock.” In an interview with “Entertainment Magazine”, he said that he now considers himself an actor: “I no longer am a wrestler, I am now pursuing a future as an actor and someday as a director. If you follow Dwayne Johnson on Instagram, then you know all about his dedication to fitness as well as his love for his family. You also can tell that he likes his clothes to be just so… fitted in all the right places.
So answer me this… does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? TBO, he could wear a paper bag and still look sexy! {Am I right, or am I right?}
