Who’s ready for summer, besides me! The weather was so nice this past week that I drove home with the top down on my car the other day. Then when I got home, I took my dress form outfit outside, along with a few outfits, because I wanted to take advantage the warm breeze and what was left of the amazing sun before it set behind the horizon.
It just seems like the weather can’t make up it’s mind as to weather it wants to be warm or cold, or whether it wants to be sunshiny or rainy (or in some states, snowy), so I put together a few summer-ready dress form outfits.

Navy blue dress: Old Navy {purchased last summer}
Tan lace-up wedges: Me Too {purchased at Off-Broadway Shoes}
Tan clutch: Michael Kors {purchased at the Unclaimed Baggage Store in Scottsboro, Ala.}
White jeans: Alice Through the Looking Glass Collection, G by Giuliana {purchased on HSN a few years ago; I don’t think these jeans are available anymore}
Blue shirt: Bit & Bridle {purchased at Tractor Supply last summer}
Shoulder bag: Chanel {purchased from an estate sale in Arizona, and it was a gift from my husband}
Brooch: CC Chanel {replica from NCD Fashions in Chattanooga}
Red shirt: Affliction {purchased at the Affliction store at the Hard Rock Hotel & Resort in Las Vegas about four years ago}
Crossbody bags: Coach {purchased at the Coach store in Key West in 2009} and vintage ESPRIT {purchased at a thrift store too many years ago to recall}
Black wedges: Aldo {purchased at DSW Shoes two summers ago}
White jeans are a summer staple, and you can wear just about any color with them. I can’t wait to pair them with some cute sandals, an vibrant top, and cruise the city in my convertible! And the cool khaki trench coat, with eyelet detailing, is perfect to have on hand for those days or nights when those spring and summer rain showers come around.
