I have looked at a lot of “Fall bucket lists” on Pinterest. And you know what? I’m never going to do half of those things on those lists. Mazes and haunted houses are not my thing, so I thought to myself, “why not make up my own manageable list!” That’s why I only put five things on my list.
- Try a new pumpkin recipe.
First of all, I love baking and cooking delicious treats for my co-workers. So I think I’m going to try this Easy Pumpkin Cobbler, from Creations by Kara. Doesn’t it look delicious?
- Burn fall candles.
Because my husband and I love to burn candles year-round, especially hand-poured candles. We have lit our fair share of “just ok” scents in our house. But finally, we have found one scent we both absolutely love. It’s the “Signature Scent” from Burrville Candle Company at Burrville Antiques in Clinton, Tenn. It smells like warm butterscotch! We purchase two or three candles at a time from the antique store in downtown Clinton.
- DIY a new fall wreath.
Every other year or so, I make a few Christmas wreaths. It’s been a few years since the last time I made a wreath. Most of the wreaths I have now are very Christmas-y, meaning they are red, green, silver, gold, and have jingle bells or holly accents. I am going to take a cue from Making Joy and Pretty Things and try my hand at making a Fall wreath for my front doors.
- Clean out my closet and switch my summer wardrobe for my fall wardrobe.
Since Fall is in full swing, maybe it’s time to weed out your closet. Do you ever wonder what to toss and what to keep when cleaning out your closet? Me too, but with this simple questionnaire from Bloglovin’, cleaning out your closet can be a breeze.
- Do a “Random Act of Kindness.”
In my opinion, the best time to do any random act of kindness is during the holiday season. Thanks to Pinterest, there are dozens of RAK lists that you can pick and choose from, including this list of 30 Acts of Holiday Kindness.
As a result of my “Fall bucket list” research, I think I’ve managed to compile a fairly simple “Fall bucket list.” Now let’s see if I can accomplish these five things before the end of the month!
What’s on your Fall bucket list?
Yours Truly,
Vanessa

Your list is perfect. And you were right to personalize it to your liking. I might have to use this idea for a #NaBloPoMo post. I made a list in my head but never wrote it down.
Thanks, Gina! I absolutely think personalizing a bucket list, whether it be for summer, fall, or winter, is a perfect way to actually check some things off your bucket list. And yes, I think you should write out your list for a #NaBloPoMo post! Good Luck!
