I am still in the process of turning a small bedroom into my dressing room, and I’ve been looking at ideas for my vanity. I don’t have much room in my small dressing room, and I am thinking of turning my antique desk into my vanity. But then, where would I put my sewing machine? I do have a small rolling table that I can (and probably will) repaint and then DIY a lighted mirror to replace my small vanity mirror.
But in the meantime, I’m having some serious vanity envy.
I love all things “Paris”, as if you couldn’t guess since the name of my blog is “Green Acres Meets Paris”. So I’m loving this antique vanity with “Hotel de Paris” sign above the mirror.
And I love all things Chanel, so this set-up, with side wall-mounted shelving is simple and chic. I also love the mirrored vanity and matching dresser to the left.
I really like this wall-mounted vanity. It definitely clears up some floor space, and it looks like it has enough storage space to hold all of my beauty goodies.
Again, I love the wall-mounted shelving, as well as the lighted mirror.
So now you have your dream vanity, but how do you beautify your vanity? Paint the room, or at least the wall the vanity is on, a serene color. Hang some pretty photos or framed artwork, and use decorative displays to hold some eye-catching products. Another tip? Keep your vanity clutter-free by putting your products and tools back where they belong after you use them.

As I said before, I thought about turning my antique desk into my vanity. Lulu’s inspires me to do just that!
