Being a #BossBabe is a state of mind and a philosophy I find encouraging. I try to follow a #BossBabe kind of life, especially when it comes to my blog, which is why, when I saw this quote, I decided to modify my thinking about what questions I’m asking myself.
Am I asking myself the wrong questions or the right questions?

Wrong Questions: What will they think? What will make them happy? Why can’t I have it?
These questions put all of your eggs in someone else’s basket. It’s as if your life, your future, your successes and failures are not yours. Why would you allow your life to be dictated by others, by what they thought, by how happy they are? And you’re left questioning why you can’t have it, whatever “it” is.
Right Questions: What do I think? What will make me happy? How can I get it?
These questions are much more self-empowering. It puts your life, your successes and failures, in your two very capable hands. What you think and what makes you happy is all up to one person… YOU! It puts you in control of your own destiny. You’re the Master of your own fate. Then you’re left with the question of how can you get it!
I think some people are intimidated by women who either act like or call themselves #BossBabes. You wanna know what I say to that? I tell them, “Too bad! I am the #BossBabe of my own life! You can either accept that and support me, or keep your mouth shut and get out of my way!” Friends and family who truly love you will support you and your dreams, and encourage you every step of the way.
Only you can decide which set of questions you’re going to live your life by – the wrong questions or the right questions. Are you going to make this about THEM, or are you going to make this about YOU?
