A year or so ago, I posted a couple of these “Free Compliments” fliers around the office because morale seemed a little low and the ladies at work were a little snippy to each other. I wanted them to share a compliment with a co-worker or to take one for themselves if they needed a compliment that day. It seemed to go over well, as compliments weretaken, handed out, and spirits were lifted.
I think it’s good idea to compliment others, without the need for it to be reciprocated. You shouldn’t give a compliment with the hope that they will in turn give you a compliment. Give a compliment because you want to, and because you mean it.
Compliments can make a person’s whole countenance change. Be the reason someone smiles.
Anyone can find the dirt in someone. Be the one who finds the gold. -Proverbs 11:27
