Next Sunday is Mother’s Day. Everyone has a mother. Some people are blessed with two, or more. And no matter your age, you will always need your mother.
I saw this quote about mothers on PopSugar and I thought it was a beautiful quote, not only for Mother’s Day but for every day. But since this blog post is about Mother’s Day, I find it all the more fitting for the occasion.

I wish all of the mothers, step-mothers, adoptive mothers, grandmothers, “special” mothers, and mothers-to-be, a very Happy Mother’s Day! So after you finish reading this blog post, call your mother and tell her you love her. Call your grandmothers and tell them you love them. If you’re an Auntie, call their mother and tell her that you love her for sharing her children with you. If you’re a mother who has a daughter with a child/children, call her and tell her you love her.
And to my own mother, Virginia, who is also celebrating her birthday on Mother’s Day… I love you a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck… And I love you to the moon and back!
