For me, Christmas is more than giving gifts. It is a time for family to come together and eat great food.
This year, I was asked to bring a dessert to our family’s get-together. So I whipped up something super tasty. Instead of your regular “Chocolate Delight”, I made “Oreo Delight” at the request of my husband, Mike.
Here’s a picture, from start to finish!
Here’s how you can make this tasty dessert.
Ingredients:
1 pkg of regular Oreo cookies
3/4 stick of butter, melted
2 – 8 oz containers of Cool Whip
1 – 8 oz pkg of cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners/powdered sugar
1 large pkg (5.9 ounce) chocolate instant pudding
2-3/4 cups of milk
Directions:
1. Crush entire bag of Oreo cookies, using a food processor. (You could do it manually, but that’s a lot of hard work!)
2. Reserve 1/2 to 1 cup of Oreo crumbs, then mix the remaining crumbs with the melted butter.
3. Press Oreo crumbs/butter mixture into the bottom of 9×13 pan to form the crust.
4. Mix 1 container of Cool Whip, softened cream cheese, and confectioners sugar in a large bowl. Use a mixer so all ingredients will get combined well.
5. Spread the Cool Whip/cream cheese mixture on top of the packed crumbs. Put this in the refrigerator so it will set.
6. Mix the pudding and milk. Put in the refrigerator and allow to set.
7. Spread the pudding over the previous layer.
8. Spread the other container of Cool Whip on top.
9. Top with reserved Oreo crumbs.
10. Chill and enjoy!

Hope you enjoy this recipe! Merry Christmas everyone!
