When You Dream, Dream Big

There’s a song by Ryan Shupe and The Rubberband entitled, “Dream Big”.

“And when you dream, dream big
As big as the ocean blue
‘Cause when you dream it might come true
When you dream, dream big”

That’s just the chorus, but the entire song is hopeful and inspiring. I’ve always been a dreamer – just ask my momma. Ever since I was 10 years old, I dreamt of being the next Barbara Walters; however, I changed my mind when I was 15 years old and I wanted to be a writer and that’s what I’ve been doing on and off (now, mostly on) for the past 25 years. I began writing short stories and poems, a couple of which I have posted on this blog last year.

But the point of today’s post is to encourage you to dream big, to reach for the stars, to go after whatever your heart and mind desires. So I pulled a few inspirational quotes from Pinterest and I hope you will copy one of them and carry it with you in your wallet or purse or notebook and be inspired to DREAM BIG!
