Wearing a sweater in the heat of summer often gets the wearer of the sweater the odd glance because “who would wear a sweater in this 90-degree summer heat?”
The fact that this sweater is a bit on the thick side and that it has a cowl neck might turn some people off from wearing it in the summertime, but I see this sleeveless sweater as a colorful summer staple. The various shades of blue horizontal stripes alternating with the white, black, and tan stripes means you could wear it with khakis, navy cargo pants, black jeans, or crisp white or light blue capris.
I’ve paired it with a comfortable skirt. I wouldn’t wear a necklace, simply because of the cowl neck, but I would stock up on black, silver and white thin bangles and a simple pair of silver hoop earrings. Then I’d wear a cute pair of black or white sandals or wedges.
Have a fashion-friendly day!
